Just like the Earth has Equatorial coordinates, the Sun, which has also an equator, has an ecuatorial coordinate system too: the Heliographic coordinates. In this
coordinate system, we have also a longitude between 0º and 360º and a latitude from 0º to 90º both hemispheres.
In order calculate what are the coordinates of a sunspot in a more accurate way, we will need a grid to overlap to our images. First of all, choose an image of the Sun where you want to measure the coordinates.
